Why the oddmakers got BCS championship game wrong

Huh? This player is awesome and will be awesome in the NFL, as the first round draft pick. He wreaks havoc in every game he plays. Texas had a tough time beating Neb solely because of Suh, as such, they are now perceived to be the underdog in this matchup tonight.

Bama does not have a defensive player of this caliber, nobody does. Colt will have more time to shred this Bama team, than he did Neb. You give Colt a little time and he will either find a receiver (70% passing completeion) or tuck it and run and eat up some big yardage.

Colt is due for a big win tonight, and I'm betting he gets it.

TEXAS ML +160, GLTA, should be a great game

That doesnt make the oddsmakers wrong dude. They dont try to predict the outcome, they'd prefer even $ to gaurentee the juice. I cannot imagine how many $20-$100 bets on bama are based on the fact that 'Alabama beat Tebow!!!"

Gators being overrated and Suh being a monster has no effect in the NC match-up outcome, but yeah you are right - a huge effect on the perception of the hobby bettors who make up 90% of the take.

Understood, but they failed to bring in even money, 60% on Bama currently becasue they are perceived to be the better team by being made a 4 pt favorite in a matchup that is a pickem' at best, IMHO, nonetheless point well taken. Horns!

Yes, the Horns played a wonderful game against Nebraska for the Big Twelve Championship and should not have won.  With the same players they are going to whip Alabama?  I think not.  I usually bet Texas but they have shown the "dog" in them several games this year.  A & M game showed up their defensive prowess.  Nebraska showed up their offensive powerhouse.  ALABAMA for me.

vegas was praying for a tight florida/cincy game....now with the blowout the public is on bama cuz they smoked florida.....been on bama all week and now im 2nd guessing myself...why oh why do i torture myself.....
