I'm just curious why you would take Lions at PICK EM 2nd half for a protection middle on your Play #2. Wasn't taking the Over on the 2nd half total ( 26.5 ) the obvious play, giving you a middle of 22 points. Even if Detroit had "torn it up", there's no way they keep Rogers out of the endzone for the entire 2nd half.

Look...lol... I am tired of explaining what I already explained to all the retro-active Einstiens....... I went 2-1 today, and 0-1 on middles the group has increased their bankroll by almost 9%. If that is not good enough for you--or any other arm chair QB's (that just throw criticisms as opposed to putting yourselves 'out there')--start you own thread.... the answer is above genius....lol

I just figured a top handicapper like yourself couldn't possibly overlook a moneymaking oppurtunity. Too bad you can't handle us arm chairers voicing an opinion.

Ok mischkin04... should not of jumped on you (long day and will be capping for another 7 hrs).. you asked a question, and are probably just inexperienced and no one has ever explained the concept to you. A 'protection middle' is a play you would like to win, but actually expect to lose. This play you are looking at (above) was right on target and not a 'loss' as you understand a 'loss' to be. I could of 'hedged' (what I would bet you thought this was) and just played the Over 2nd half to protect the 2 Units Under I had on the game, but I don't/won't bet against my plays. Hence, as STATED the ONLY way the game would of gone OVER would be w/ 48.5 pts in the 2nd half, and the ONLY way I saw that happening was IF Detroit got 'live' and was scoring up a bunch (hence resting their D, hence they would've had slowed down GB and won the 2nd half)...if Det did not get 'LIVE' in the 2nd half, they would lose the half and I win more on the UNDER......... hopefully you understand this, but I have no more time to explain it in simpler terms for you...sorry

Didn't you just do the opposite and protect/hedge your bet on the Utah/Col game total today? I suggested this should have been the play on Pack/ Det, where you had an even larger middle, and I get dismissed as being uneducated on wagering. Also, I didn't post my Tday picks as a suppostion to help others increase thier bankroll as you did.
