People, dont you know how vegas works? This is exactly like the game when louiville played syracuse. Syracuse won that game. Vegas is begging you to take rutgers. Pitt will win this game. How can a 4-6 team be favored by 2 against a 9-1 rutgers team and they are ranked. hmmmmm. Bet opposite of what it looks like. But dont listen to me. Go ahead bet rutgers. I dare you....

You should know that Vegas does not always set the correct line on

games,and this is one of those games.

Vegas or the linesmakers aren't begging anybody to take anything...they're in a business... they set lines on every game and don't hung up on any one game like bettors do..they set a line to the best of their knowledge and power rankings square in the middle of public(bettors) perception. They get some wrong, get some right...at the end of the day they want 50% on each side(ideally) and profit the juice....they don't take risks on ANYTHING, that's what bettors do, we risk, they don't...they're in it for the long haul

I'd say that Pitts' OT loss at ND counts for something in this line... 

this actually is a trap line. somethings up with this one for me it's a no play. This line should realistically be rutgers -5 and everyone knows it.

THis is the BIGGEST NO BET of the year. Pitt "this year" is good at home. Rut is good on the road. Both have played nobody of interest. Could go either way, jeter is right, Vegas wants you to take Rutgers. Why else would they set and leave that line. Got to figure money is coming in on Rutgers but line has not moved...

I agree, you have to go with rutgers even though the line seems real fishy to me.  Vegas knows their stuff but they dont get even line right and there are lines like this that dont make much sense and i think Pitt is being over valued at home because they were close to a Notre Dame team that played to the level of their competition most games.

This game will be ugly and low scoring. The Rutgers have a pretty good rushing attack and a stout defense. Pitt doesn't have the athletes like Kent St. did and Nova won't throw 6 ints again.

 I expect Pitt to come out strong, but Rutgers is simply better. Looking ahead and home field won't apply here. Rutgers is 5-0 on the road and with this week's news have a lot to prove.

Very very fishy line.. Same as when Pitt played V-Tech.. However, I do believe Rutgers is still in line for the Big East title, with a win in game against Louisville next week.. First they got to take care of business here.. Could be looking ahead, but I'd rather put my money on a good Rutgers D and decent QB then a Pitt team with nothing to play for..
