Montreal Alouettes -4, -106
Toronto Argos PK, -105

Not much time for write-ups today, but I happen to have 2 picks for the same game.

This first one is purely a gut feeling. I wish I could give more reasoning. But...in case anyone needs a random stat to help support the play...

An average of 14 points have been scored in Saskatchewan's 6 road games this season. 12 or more have been scored in 5 of those games.

An average of 12 points have been scored in BC's 6 home games this season (and that was with one game that was scoreless after 15 minutes). 11 or more have been scored in 5 of those games.

Riders/Lions 1st-Quarter Over 10.5, +109


Secondly...if I asked you which team was first against the pass in the CFL, would you guess Saskatchewan? Well if you didn't, then you'd be wrong. All of this, despite giving up just under 28 points per game. I just hope that the "right" Durant shows up. It won't be easy, but I see everyone's second favourite team winning by a FG.

I might take Montreal 1st half tomorrow.
 
With the Als having such a big lead on everyone in the east ....I'm thinking they get an early lead then play a lot of second string.
 
What do you think?

You may be right. The game line smells funny to me. Montreal destroyed the Cats last week, while the Argos lost to the Bombers.

I realize that the Argos are at home but I can't see how the Als are only 10-point faves.

Perhaps...for the same reason that you just mentioned.

Glad things are good.

But we have Habs homers and Leafs homers. We're lacking the Nucks homers.

Tell Lipps, OP, and the boys sorry to renege on the 3 year Nuck future but current life circumstances made that a bet I didn't need to make. I'm sure I'll be kicking myself for taking a pass. Nucks didn't look great last night but Game 1 is so overrated it's ridiculous. Like our teams buddy,  I spent the first 25 years of my life as a hardcore Leaf fan, don't forget.
 
 
Having said that screw Big mouth, redass Burke and his jealous sidekick No-nothing-NONIS. Stop screwing with the Nucks. Gillis will crush you.
