I thought Greenbay was alot worse yesterday, I had the Cowboys I thought they would actually win they are playing great considering. I have been in the same shape you are in, most people on here have except the ones making fun of you. If you are serious then maybe you should quit, you have to want to it is very addictive it is like drinking (bud light) or drugs (weed) but I am like most people I read on here Love it sometimes gambling is better than all that even better than SEX sometimes the rush you get from winning big and being right man what a moment. I dont know what I would do without football season which is almost over that really sucks. I amdepressed all year till it is back maybe I have a problem I dont care I look forward to playin when College starts man I am so ready. Good luck to you and I hope you get a handle on it and do what is best for you.

Replace your wife diamond with a cubic zirconia! Wife will never know, and after the pawn shop, you'll have $500 to put on the Texan's ML, then you're back in the game!

Moral of the story.......There are people that have quit gambling for life....Good for them.....The majority of us can't because the overwhelming desire to supplement income or feel the rush.......Truth be told "Drugs" arn't the worst plague on modern society,,,,Gambling is because it can threaten the very livelihood of entire families.....Not just an individual......You have to have some pretty strong resolve to avoid gambling once you've been sucked in.....If you can't avoid it,,,,,then simply DO NOT bet to cover your losses.....Wait for the 'gimmies' which come around about once a week or so....Then just bet a 1 or 2 unit play on it.

Gambling is a never ending, slow (or fast) downward spiral.....Those that play all of thier lives without stumbling simply have the income to support the habit. Hard work and patience is where it's at.

sounds like something i would do as well. thanks for the advice. once bit twice shy. as a 1 -3 unit player i got up 113 units in coll. & pro fb 2008. lost it all during march madness in 09. was wagering 5 -10 units. i wont quit till  i am dead probably. too much fun if you stay within your means.

Relax.  Breathe.  Walk away for a few days and it will come back to you.
