    More winning.............

Over 1 million American workers with over 100 companies (and growing) are set to receive a bonus, 401(k) match increases, pay hike or retirement increase as a direct result of President Trump’s tax reform package... some are paying as much as $3,000.

There is a broad and deep tsunami building...of bonuses and wage hikes coming to American workers ..

These companies are offering employee bonuses, pay hikes, and increases in benefits in reaction to President Trump’s December tax reform victory.

Baltimore Gas & Electric Co. plans to pass on about $82 million in tax savings to customers as a result of the federal tax reform passed by Republicans in December that lowered the corporate tax rate.

The savings would represent a bill reduction of up to 5.2%.

I can see the message to BG&ECo. from Democrats,in Congress..,
“Stop it!    You’re killing our chances of getting re-elected!”.

If you subscribe to the “Gorilla channel” you would learn that Camp David got its lasting name from President Dwight D. Eisenhower, who renamed it after his father and grandson....

Well at least it’s entertaining. We have a wack job for a commander in chief we have Twitter as the new news feeds and every Democrat I know States we are facing Armageddon. Lolol this could not be more hillarious and why? Cause a party trumpeting grass routes agenda and organization dictated a person to win the nomination. Was less popular than Trump.... funny funny stuff

I really doubt if President Trump would agree with you...

Last year in an interview he was asked what he thought about Camp David and it's cozy little cabins in the woods...."Camp David is very rustic, it's nice, you'd like it," Trump said in the interview "You know how long you'd like it?"......"For about 30 minutes."

These bonuses are nice & a few companies pledged to raise hourly pay to $15. However, the real money stays with the corporations & will enrich stockholders. It does nothing for small businesses & the trickle down goes like this....

Small business goes kaput. Employees lose their jobs, vendors don't get paid & lose sale revenues, commercial landlord has an empty store, communities are negatively impacted etc.

These 1k bonuses may help to pay some bills for a month or two but none of this a permanent. In fact while touting this corporate generosity, AT&T as well as Comcast quietly also announced a couple of thousand employee layoffs.

    Comcast/NBC Universal employ 130,000 people.

Laying off 500..managers, supervisors, and direct sales people ...is not even 1% of their workforce.

While AT&T laying off employees is nothing new. Between 2008 and 2016 AT&T reduced it's total work force by 80,000 jobs.

Customer demand is shifting fast from landline and cable TV..millions of Americans are cutting the cord and dropping their   pay-TV subscriptions and many young people not watching traditional TV at all.

Everything at AT&T is accelerating fast...and workers will have to learn news skills..  e.g. digital networking and data science or be left behind.,the company needs less door to door sale people ..and more people geared to the new the technologies..

Pfizer decided to stop research and development into new neuroscience drugs, including its work in Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. This will lead to about 300 job cuts.

Tax cuts are not going into working for a solution with these two debilitating diseases.

University of Arkansas also announced laying off 258 workers.

Coke, Pfizer & Cisco announced they are giving back to shareholders any gains from the tax plan.

CEO's already told Piggy's economic advisor Gary Cohn they would not be using these funds to add jobs. Cohn even asked the CEO's "why more hands weren't in the air" regarding the jobs BS. contention.

I do agree Sears/K-Mart should be put out of their misery due to crappy management & horrible use of the capital they did have. Unfortunately the workers will lose their jobs, benefits & a sense of security when employed.

BTW..Coca Cola has been a friend to dividend investors for years but if they think of cutting their dividend investors will cash out just like they did when GE cut their dividend.  .

With this new tax plan Berkshire Hathaway will gain 37 billion. Did they need a tax cut?

It further confirms the rich will get richer.

President Couch Potato doesn't give a damn about the middle class.

North Carolina Aquesta Bank CEO Jim Engel on Monday said that President Trump’s tax plan was the main “driver” in helping the bank raise the company minimum wage to $15 per hour and giving $1,000 cash bonuses to all of its employees..............

We are hiring more people, who are going to lead our South Carolina efforts. We have not even announced yet.. that we are hiring in Raleigh..........

We’re expanding and growing. The Trump tax cuts are largely allowing us to do it,” Engel said.

Besides... Baltimore Gas & Electric Co. plans to pass on about $82 million in tax savings to customers as a result of President Trump's tax reform Bill..

    More winning..for Americans..

The utility companies that have reported plans to reduce
customers' energy costs by cutting rates, due to President Trumps tax reform decreasing the Corporate Tax Rate from 35% to 21%..

The utility companies thus far, include:

Pepco plans to lower the bills of 296,000 electric customers in the District of Columbia,

Pepco and Delmava Power plan to pass on savings to their 500,000 electric customers in Delaware and Maryland and approximately 129,000 natural gas delivery customers in northern Delaware,

Pacific Power , which provides electricity to 740,000 customers in Washington, Oregon and California, announced a yet-to-be-determined rate cut due to lower corporate tax rate,

Rocky Mountain Power announced plans a rate reduction, which it says “will take several months to calculate” to its 1.1 million customers in Utah, Wyoming and Idaho,

Commonwealth Edison Company (ComEd) is passing on $200 million worth of tax savings to its four million customers in northern Illinois. “Residential customer can expect to see an estimated $2-$3 decrease on their monthly bill related to the tax reduction,” the utility says.

A far cry from President Trumps predecessor who said  “Under my plan of a cap-and-trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket."

North Carolina Aquesta Bank is an example of the tax reform helping small businesses...the tax cut allows them to provide bonuses for current employees, hire more employees, expand their work-space, and purchase inventory. ...

The bill’s provisions allow for immediate expensing of capital investment and full interest expensing  will spur expansion and capital improvements................

I see,, that too many people, on the left are uninformed and easily deceived about this tax overhaul..probably because they listen to people like Nancy Pelosi..and believe what she is putting out there..But the truth is the middle-class tax cut, is giving people more take-home pay...

Let the left run against this tax bill in the mid-terms and see how many seats they loose...it will be many..
