Prop pick #1: Clayton Keller Over 0.5 assists

Novig probability: 58%

Play up to 62%.

Clayton Keller has been a playmaking machine this season for the Utah Mammoth, handing out eight helpers in nine games. The 28-year-old has two assists across his previous four appearances, and I'm eyeing another against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Pittsburgh has allowed 1.25 assists per game to opposing right wings this season, giving Keller another favorable positional matchup.

Four of Keller's eight helpers have been primary assists, and Utah has consistently generated scoring opportunities with him on the ice, ranking him among the team's best in that category. Playing alongside leading scorer Nick Schmaltz on the top line and getting additional work on PP1, Keller has multiple paths to another apple at home.

  • Matchup: Penguins vs. Mammoth
  • Time: 9 p.m. ET
  • Location: Delta Center, Salt Lake City, Utah
  • TV: ESPN+

Prop pick #2: Nathan MacKinnon Over 3.5 shots on goal

Novig probability: 57%

Play up to 63%.

Nathan MacKinnon is leading the Colorado Avalanche by a mile in unblocked shot attempts (51) and total shot attempts (66), laying the groundwork for another high-volume evening. This matchup is also favorable for the superstar, as the Avs visit the lowly Philadelphia Flyers.

Philly ranks dead last in the NHL, allowing 32.9 shots on goal (SOG) per contest, and is surrendering 7.4 SOG per night to opposing centers. MacKinnon has easily cashed the Over on SOG in back-to-back outings, notching an impressive 13 during that span.

He'll be busy again vs. a vulnerable Flyers team.

  • Matchup: Avalanche vs. Flyers
  • Time: 7 p.m. ET
  • Location: Xfinity Mobile Arena, Philadelphia, Pa.
  • TV: ESPN+

Goal scorer pick: Auston Matthews

Novig probability: 45%

Play up to 50%.

Auston Matthews is off to a much better start after his struggles last season. The Toronto Maple Leafs captain has already scored six goals in nine appearances, including four across his last four outings.

Matthews ranks second on the Leafs in individual scoring chances and first in individual high-danger chances, highlighting how frequently he's generating quality opportunities.

Also, for what it's worth, he's dominated the San Jose Sharks throughout his career, scoring 14 goals in 16 meetings. The Sharks also rank 23rd in goals allowed and 21st in SOG surrendered, giving Matthews another favorable setup to create dangerous looks.

  • Matchup: Sharks vs. Maple Leafs
  • Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Location: Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, Ontario
