Our best NHL player props for Wednesday, November 26
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Kyle Connor Under 2.5 shots on goal
It’s not too often that I’ll nab a superstar to have a quiet game offensively, but this is an exception. While Kyle Connor has been lighting it up with 11 goals and 14 assists this season, the Winnipeg Jets winger has been quiet in front of goal lately.
He’s cashed the Under in SOG in back-to-back games. Connor registered just two shots on target in a loss to the Minnesota Wild on Sunday, and put just one puck on net last Friday against the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Jets face the Washington Capitals tonight, and in 2024-25, Connor averaged two SOG against them across two meetings. The Caps are also Top-10 in fewest SOG allowed.

Prop #2: Nathan MacKinnon Under 4.5 shots on goal
Okay, perhaps Nathan MacKinnon is an exception for this evening’s picks as well. As we all know, he’s having a tremendous campaign, leading the NHL in points and goals. MacKinnon is also second in assists and is a clear frontrunner for the Hart Trophy.
MacKinnon is averaging 4.2 SOG this season, while his total tonight sits at 4.5. Yes, he’s cashed the Over many times in 2025-26, but he’s hit the Under in five of his last six appearances. It’s just a bit too high a total for me.
Will he create chances? Of course. But, based on the trends, he should stay Under five shots on goal.

Prop #3: Morgan Geekie anytime goal
Morgan Geekie is one of the biggest surprises of this young NHL campaign. While he did score 33 goals last season, he’s already over halfway to that number. The Boston Bruins veteran is sitting on 17 goals, tied with MacKinnon for the league lead.
Geekie is on absolute fire, scoring in three straight appearances, finding the back of the net five times during that span. He’s also generated 12 shots on goal in those games.
The Bruins face the New York Islanders tonight, and Geekie has already scored once against them this season in two meetings.
