Our best NHL player props for Tuesday, March 24
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Filip Forsberg Over 0.5 assists
Filip Forsberg has been a driving force behind the Nashville Predators’ impressive campaign, scoring 32 goals while supplying 30 assists.
The Swede has cashed the Over in helpers in four straight appearances, and during that span, he’s notched five assists. The Preds are at home tonight, and he’s collected 18 of his helpers in Nashville in 35 contests.
The Predators are also taking on the struggling San Jose Sharks, who have lost four straight and have conceded over 20 goals during this cold streak. He'll get in on the offensive action again.

Prop #2: Martin Necas Over 0.5 assists
Martin Necas is one of the Colorado Avalanche's core pieces as they chase a Cup. He’s been brilliant this season, collecting 86 points with 54 assists, cementing himself as one of the NHL's top playmakers.
Across his last two outings, Necas has registered four assists, grabbing two apiece against both the Capitals and the Blackhawks.
The Avs face the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight, and Necas already notched a helper against them on March 16. The Pens are also allowing a lot of goals lately, giving up 15 across their last three games. Necas is a frequent contributor, and he won't have any issues grabbing an assist here.

Prop #3: Macklin Celebrini Over 3.5 shots on goal
Macklin Celebrini is averaging 3.47 SOG per contest, which ranks 14th in the league, and he just put six pucks on target in Saturday’s loss to the Flyers.
While he’s actually only cashed the Over in two of his last five, there’s reason to believe he’ll be generating chances tonight. The Sharks take on the Predators, who are allowing 29.5 SOG per game, which is 26th in the NHL.
That defensive deficiency will allow Celebrini to take shots at a higher volume with a clearer path toward the net.
