Our best NHL player props for Tuesday, January 13
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: William Nylander Over 0.5 assists
William Nylander has been the main man for the Toronto Maple Leafs this season, leading the way with 46 points. He’s tied for first in goals (16) while sitting first in assists with 30. The Swede is a tremendous playmaker, and we’ve seen those abilities on full display lately.
The 29-year-old has cashed the Over in helpers in three of his last four games, and he has three assists across his previous two contests alone. Last night, Nylander scored and set up another against the Colorado Avalanche, and tallied a pair of helpers two days before that in a big win over the Canucks.
The Leafs visit the Utah Mammoth tonight, and Nylander has registered seven assists in 13 road games. He’s already tallied a helper against them earlier this season as well.

Prop #2: David Pastrnak Over 0.5 assists
Boston Bruins star David Pastrnak has already posted 55 points in 2025-26, and he’s ninth in the NHL in assists with 36.
Pastrnak was quiet in Sunday’s 1-0 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins, but he hit the Over in helpers in three of four games before that. The Czech Republic native had a whopping six assists in a 10-2 win over the New York Rangers on Saturday.
The Bruins welcome the Detroit Red Wings to the TD Garden this evening, and Pastrnak has tallied 19 assists in 20 home appearances. He also put up three helpers in three meetings with Detroit last season.

Prop #3: Connor McDavid anytime goal
Connor McDavid has been on an absolute tear, and with each passing day, a fourth Hart Trophy slowly becomes a serious possibility. The superstar is already at 80 points, having scored 30 goals and 50 assists.
The Edmonton Oilers stud has six goals in January, finding the back of the net in four of five games this month.
McDavid has 16 goals on the road this season as the Oilers head to the Music City tonight to face the Nashville Predators. He also netted a pair of goals against them last season across two meetings.
