Our best NHL player props for Monday, December 29
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Macklin Celebrini Over 0.5 assists
Macklin Celebrini is turning into a superstar in Year 2 with the San Jose Sharks, already scoring 20 goals and tallying 37 helpers this season. The former first overall pick has been incredibly consistent, and the numbers clearly back up that sentiment.
The Vancouver native has cashed the Over in assists in six of his last seven appearances. In fact, during that span, Celebrini has registered eight helpers. In his homecoming over the weekend against the Canucks, Celebrini scored and had another assist.
The Sharks visit the Anaheim Ducks this evening, and earlier this season, Celebrini notched three helpers against them.

Prop #2: Nathan MacKinnon Over 1.5 points
While Connor McDavid has now surpassed him for the most points in the NHL, Nathan MacKinnon is still having an electrifying campaign. He’s posted 64 points in just 37 games, and the Colorado Avalanche superstar leads the league in goals with 31.
It’s almost a rarity where MacKinnon doesn’t finish a game with one point, at the very least. He’s cashed Over 1.5 points in six of his last eight games. Last time out, MacKinnon had three points in an OT win over the Golden Knights.
The Avs host the Los Angeles Kings tonight, and MacKinnon already logged two points against them earlier this season.

Prop #3: Brad Marchand Over 0.5 assists
37 years old? No problem. Brad Marchand is still playing like he’s in his prime for the defending champion Florida Panthers. The veteran has 21 goals and 21 assists this season. He’s doing it all for the Cats.
Marchand has hit the Over in helpers in four of his previous five outings. In fact, he set up a goal in four straight before failing to have an assist over the weekend, although he still scored against the Lightning.
Marchand and the Panthers host the Washington Capitals tonight. He has 13 of his helpers at home, and the Nova Scotia native tallied a pair of assists against the Caps in November.
