Our best NHL player props for Friday, January 9
Take a look at our best bets and expert analysis below.
Prop #1: Andre Burakovsky Over 0.5 assists
Chicago Blackhawks forward Andre Burakovsky is having a nice campaign, contributing 10 goals and 19 assists in 38 appearances. The 30-year-old is only eight assists off his season total from 2024-25 with the Seattle Kraken.
The Swede has cashed the Over in helpers in three of his last four games and has already registered five assists in January. Burakovsky has a pair of multi-assist games this month, tallying a pair of helpers on Sunday against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Prop #2: Kyle Connor anytime goal
Kyle Connor has netted 21 goals and tallied 30 assists so far, and he’s hitting the back of the net at an impressive rate right now.
The 30-year-old has scored in three consecutive outings, most recently potting a goal in Thursday’s loss to the Edmonton Oilers. He already has three goals and three helpers this month. The Winnipeg Jets are at home this evening against the Los Angeles Kings, and that’s good news for Connor.
In 20 home contests, Connor has scored 12 times.

Prop #3: Lawson Crouse Over 0.5 assists
Lawson Crouse is not a household name, but he's an important piece for the Utah Mammoth. The former first-round pick has 20 points this season, scoring 10 times and compiling 10 assists. So far in January, Crouse has three helpers in four games.
Crouse has hit the Over in assists in three of his previous five appearances. While he doesn’t usually put up a ton of points, the 28-year-old is clearly making his presence felt as a playmaker, and there’s no reason to believe he won’t stay hot tonight.
