Parker's prediction: Expect another low-scoring game with excellent goaltending in Raleigh tonight.

The Philadelphia Flyers will look to even their Round 2 series with a win over the Carolina Hurricanes at the Lenovo Center on Monday, May 4.

My top Flyers vs. Hurricanes props expect Philly to have trouble scoring again tonight, while both goaltenders have strong showings in Raleigh.

Game 2 Prop #1: Dan Vladar Over 25.5 saves (-130)

-130 at BET99

The series opener was a low-event game, and in particular, the Carolina Hurricanes only recorded 23 shots on 50 attempts.

Carolina recorded 29.57 shots and 69.01 attempts per 60 minutes (per NaturalStatTrick) during Round 1 and respective 69.08 and 31.65 marks during the regular season, so I’m expecting an uptick in action for Philadelphia Flyers goalie Dan Vladar tonight.

Of course, Vladar has also been solid, with a high-end .927 SV% and 6.72 goals saved above expected (GSAx) across seven playoff games.

Game 2 Prop #2: Frederik Andersen Under 1.5 goals against

+145 at BET99

The Hurricanes held the Flyers to just four high-danger scoring chances and 1.85 expected goals in front of the Hurricanes' red-hot goalie Frederik Andersen in Game 1, and he turned away all 19 shots for his second shutout of the postseason.

Andersen is up to an incredible .961 SV% with 10.85 GSAx through five games, and he’s only been beaten three times at 5-on-5.

Game 2 Prop #3: Travis Konecny Under 0.5 points (-105)

-105 at BET99

Pair Andersen’s unreal numbers with Carolina allowing just five goals this postseason, and scoring on the Hurricanes is the toughest job on the ice this spring.

Philly winger Travis Konecny spent the bulk of his minutes matched up against Carolina’s shutdown line centered by Jordan Staal in Game 1, and Konecny and linemates Christian Dvorak and Denver Barkey were only on the ice for 0.15 expected goals at 5-on-5.

I also value Carolina sporting the best penalty-kill percentage in the playoffs.
