Bills are favored
As we approach the start of the NFL preseason, the Buffalo Bills are the new betting favorites to hoist the Lombardi Trophy on February 8 in Santa Clara.
The move comes on the heels of a solid offseason and at the expense of the reigning Super Bowl champion, the Philadelphia Eagles, who are still close behind.
As for the hometown team, the San Francisco 49ers currently have +1600 odds to win the Super Bowl in their home stadium, a feat that has never been accomplished in league history. The closest any team has come was in 1980 at Super Bowl XIV, when the Los Angeles Rams played the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
