The Seattle Seahawks will look to get back in the win column as a massive road favorite over the Tennessee Titans in their matchup at Nissan Stadium on Sunday.

My early Seahawks vs. Titans predictions and NFL picks are calling for Tennessee to hang around as home underdogs while the score stays Under the number in Week 12.

Seahawks vs Titans predictions

Here are our early thoughts on the spread and total for this week’s game. We will have a full game preview (with a best bet and SGP) later in the week.

Early Seahawks vs Titans spread pick: Titans +12.5

This is an obvious mismatch, with the Seattle Seahawks checking in as the second-largest favorite on the docket to open the week. Statistically, there's no comparison between Seattle and the basement-dwelling Tennessee Titans by any metric, and the Seahawks have made a habit of blowing out opponents with an average margin of victory of 15.7 points.

So, the question is whether or not the Titans can show up and either score enough or limit the Seahawks enough to cover the number Sunday at Nissan Stadium.

It’s definitely a tricky schedule spot with Seattle playing a second consecutive road game and having to travel across the continent for an early afternoon kickoff. Tennessee has also covered in consecutive games, and there’s huge back-door cover potential with the Titans being spotted a healthy 12.5 points.

The Titans have been better on defense the past two weeks and are allowing a respectable 4.9 yards per play and the 15th-lowest EPA per play.

My early lean is to take the points with the home underdog.

Early Seahawks vs Titans total pick: Under 40.5

-110 at FanDuel

The Titans have scored the fewest points per game (14.3), while the Seahawks have allowed the sixth-fewest (19.3). Again, this lean to the Under is all about whether or not Tennessee can hold the Seattle offense in check, or at least partially in check.

It’s the highlighted small improvement the Tennessee stop unit has shown the past two weeks, paired with the tough schedule spot for Seattle, that gives me initial confidence in this total falling short of the number.

This is back-to-back weeks on the road for Seattle, and the Seahawks also travelled across the continent in Week 9 to face the Commanders on Sunday Night Football, so it’s three of four on the highway with a lot of miles on the odometer.

Seattle has been an offensive juggernaut with the second-most yards per play (6.2) and points per game (29.4), but the Seahawks also rank a more middling 13th in EPA per play. I also think there's potential for Seattle to take the foot off the pedal if they jump out to an early lead.
