The 2025 NFL season is just around the corner, so this is the perfect time to look at the futures markets and dial in some early NFL picks.
Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson headlines my trio of rushing yardage props, and he’s joined by a pair of rookie rushers set to play big roles right out of the gate.
Three 2025 Rushing Totals to Hammer
Bijan Robinson Over 1,150.5 rushing yards (-118 at BetMGM)
Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson has become one of the most reliable and efficient high-volume rushers in the NFL — and there’s potential we haven’t seen his best yet.
He handled over 300 carries and added 60 receptions last season despite working in an inconsistent Atlanta offense. With quarterback Michael Penix Jr. taking over and offensive coordinator Zac Robinson installing a new system, the Falcons should show at least marginal improvement, which could unlock another gear for Robinson.
The third-year back shows off a rare blend of speed (4.46) and power (215 lbs), while also flashing the athleticism and agility to maintain a healthy 4.8 yards per carry and high-end 75.3 elusiveness rating despite often being the focal point of opposing defenses.
Finally, I also expect more chunk runs from Robinson. He only rushed for 30-plus yards once last season and has yet to pick up a 40-yard gain through his first two seasons.
Ashton Jeanty Over 1,050.5 rushing yards (-110 at bet365)
Las Vegas Raiders rookie Ashton Jeanty is stepping into a featured role after joining the organization as the No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Pundits and scouts have billed the Boise State product as one of the top running back prospects to enter the league in recent years, and at 5-foot-9 and 211 pounds, Jeanty combines a compact build with elite burst and speed (21.7 mph in-game max).
He proved he could handle heavy workloads in back-to-back college seasons and joins a backfield that lacked production in 2024 and only added 33-year-old Raheem Mostert as veteran insurance.
With new offensive coordinator Chip Kelly calling the shots, expect a fast-paced, run-heavy attack, as his previous NFL offenses all ranked inside the Top 15 in rushing. Jeanty should dominate early-down work, and he'll thrive in a lead role in short order.
Omarion Hampton Over 800.5 rushing yards (-105 at bet365)
Los Angeles Chargers first-rounder Omarion Hampton is another rookie running back who has my attention after putting together a dominant two-year run at North Carolina.
The Chargers used the No. 22 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to land the 6-foot, 221-pound back after he posted consecutive 1,500-yard seasons and tested like a true power-speed threat — 4.46 40, 38" vertical — at the combine.
Add Hampton’s production profile and physical tools to the Chargers leaning on a run-first offense under Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Greg Roman, and there’s oodles to like about the rookie rusher.
While Hampton projects to start the year in a timeshare with Najee Harris, the veteran is on a one-year deal and has struggled with efficiency in recent seasons. Hampton’s role will grow quickly, and he'll have an excellent year behind a strong offensive line.
I also value that opposing defenses can’t cheat and focus on the running game, with LA quarterback Justin Herbert also receiving an upgrade to his receiving corps.
