The 2025 NFL season is about to begin as 32 teams battle it out in eight divisions for the chance to win the Super Bowl.
There should be plenty of close division battles this year, with only two teams being installed at better than -130 to win their division — the Bills (-260) and the Ravens (-160).
Here are my NFL picks for each divisional winner, along with a parlay including all eight that will pay out nearly $2,600 on a $10 wager.

AFC East Winner:
Buffalo Bills (-260 at FanDuel)
This should be a no-brainer. The Buffalo Bills are Super Bowl contenders and play one of the easiest schedules in the league.
The Dolphins are expected to be their closest competition in the division, but Miami has major issues on defense, and Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill can't seem to stay healthy.
AFC West Winner:
Kansas City Chiefs (-110 at FanDuel)
Is this the year the Kansas City Chiefs finally fall off and fail to win the division title for the first time since 2015? There are concerns in KC, with Rashee Rice suspended for six games and key losses in the trenches and the secondary.
That said, I still think Denver is a year away from being a true contender, and the Chargers' defense should regress after outperforming expectations last year.
I'm not betting against Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid this year.
AFC North Winner:
Baltimore Ravens (-160 at FanDuel)
The AFC North will be a battleground, but the Baltimore Ravens remain the most well-rounded team in terms of offense, defense, and coaching.
I don't trust Pittsburgh's attack, which will be led by a 41-year-old Aaron Rodgers, and Cincinnati's defense could be among the worst in the NFL.
Baltimore had arguably the best defense in the league during the second half of last season, while its offense will keep rolling with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.
AFC South Winner:
Houston Texans (+110 at FanDuel)
The Houston Texans went just 4-5 down the stretch last year, with franchise quarterback CJ Stroud regressing.
That said, they still won the division title for the second-straight year, and Stroud should be better with a revamped (and healthy) receiving corps.
Ultimately, I have to back the team with the best defense and the top QB in the division.
NFC East Winner:
Philadelphia Eagles (-130 at FanDuel)
Don't expect a Super Bowl hangover for the Philadelphia Eagles, who are once again the cream of the crop in the East.
The weapons are all there for Jalen Hurts, as he once again has the luxury of the league's best offensive line in front of him.
Philly has done a great job at retooling its defense through the draft to ensure the cupboard is stocked with talented pass rushers and cover men.
NFC West Winner:
Los Angeles Rams (+200 at FanDuel)
The 49ers are the favorites to win the division after going 6-11 last year, but I'm not convinced that Christian McCaffrey and Trent Williams can stay healthy. Their defense has also regressed after losing key pieces at every level over the last couple of years.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Rams have surrounded Matthew Stafford with elite weapons, while the defense is filled with up-and-coming young studs like Jared Verse.
NFC North Winner:
Green Bay Packers (+220 at FanDuel)
Heavy is the head that wears the crown, and after going 15-2 last season, Detroit will have a target on its backs.
The Lions are projected to win the division again, but they have one of the toughest schedules on the slate. Detroit also lost offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, while Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow announced his shock retirement in June.
Don't be surprised if Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers sweep in to win a tight division.
NFC South Winner:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-105 at FanDuel)
This will come down to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons, especially since the Saints and Panthers will likely be two of the worst teams in the league.
Michael Penix has the weapons to succeed, but he isn't on Baker Mayfield's level yet. Atlanta's defense could also struggle unless multiple rookies are able to make an immediate impact.
Odds are correct at the time of publishing and are subject to change.
