Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders head to SoFi Stadium on Sunday to face the Los Angeles Chargers, who just saw their unbeaten record come to an end in Week 4.

Deebo Samuel has emerged as one of the Commanders’ top targets, and he’s already collected two touchdowns in the 2025 season. I’m also eyeing third-year wideout Quentin Johnston to find the end zone after his hot start for the Bolts.

Commanders anytime touchdown pick

Deebo Samuel (+130 at FanDuel)

The Washington Commanders brought in Deebo Samuel in an offseason trade with the San Francisco 49ers, and he’s certainly played his part. While he’s been more of a receiver with Washington, the numbers are still impressive. He’s reeled in 22 catches for 204 yards and two touchdowns.

Samuel was a factor in last week’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons, registering six catches for 72 yards and a touchdown. Both of his scores this season have been on the road, and the Commanders visit the Chargers on Sunday.

Deebo has only faced the Bolts once in his career, but LA’s defense just allowed 21 points to a very average NY Giants team. The Chargers do have a good secondary, but that shouldn’t stop Samuel from making some noise.

Quentin Johnston (+170 at FanDuel)

The Los Angeles Chargers have looked like a legitimate contender out of the AFC so far. Well,  at least until the loss to the Giants. Justin Herbert is balling, and his WR room looks elite.

That’s largely due to Johnston, who is putting up big numbers.

The TCU product leads the team in receiving yards (337) and touchdowns (4). He’s also second in receptions with 22, just behind franchise legend Keenan Allen, who has 24 catches. Johnston has found the end zone in three of the four games this season, reeling in two TDs in the season opener win over the KC Chiefs.

Despite the defeat, Johnston also had a score last Sunday as he posted eight receptions for 98 yards. The wideout has proven his worth as a reliable target for Herbert, and I have no doubts he’ll be heavily involved again on Sunday. A fifth TD of the campaign is very possible.
