Everyone quickly wrote off the Cleveland Browns when they named Deshaun Watson QB1, but this team has surprised many. They're off to a 3-1 start and, quite honestly, I think they deserve to be favored in this game.
Cleveland has won three in a row, going 3-0 ATS in those games as they took down the Buccaneers, Panthers, and Steelers.
The New York Jets, meanwhile, have lost three straight and scored just 12 points in Week 4. Geno Smith and this offense have been wildly inconsistent, and Cleveland's defense has shown improvement lately, especially against the run, allowing fewer than 100 rushing yards in each of its last two games.
Cleveland is playing like the better team right now, while the Jets are ice-cold. I'll confidently back the Browns at +1.5.

Neither offense has been particularly convincing through the opening month. Cleveland is averaging just over 20 points per game despite their solid record, while New York is coming off a miserable Week 4 showing in which they barely reached double digits and produced only 157 total yards.
The Jets have stayed below this number in three of four games, and Cleveland still profiles as a team that would rather control the game than turn it into a shootout.
With both offenses carrying plenty of questions, I expect a relatively low-scoring affair at MetLife.
