Mississippi State vs Missouri best bet: Jamal Roberts anytime touchdown (-160)
As difficult as it is to emerge behind a talent like Ahmad Hardy, Jamal Roberts has found a way over the last few weeks. The carries have gone up and I expect him to ride that momentum against an awful rushing defense.
Over the last two games, Roberts has posted double-digit carries for the first time all season. His total carries in that stretch have nearly exceeded the four games combined.
The Missouri Tigers have been rewarded with his production in that stretch, too, highlighted by last week's effort that included a touchdown on 110 yards.
While Hardy will continue to get the bulk of the volume, this increased role makes this number attractive.
Especially once you consider what's on the other side.
I wrote earlier this season that the Mississippi State Bulldogs' rushing defense was the only aspect that didn't appear to be "SEC quality." At the time, I meant it as a compliment because other aspects of the team had improved so much.
This time, though, it will be something we exploit. It ranks at the bottom of the sport in almost all rushing metrics, including 116th in EPA allowed per rush.
That makes this a number you can pass up, particularly when the game script likely favors a more ground-based approach.

I'm grabbing the Bulldogs to get a first-half cover for two reasons: the hungover effect for Missouri and the matchup overall.
I question how quickly the Tigers will be able to get back on their feet after last weekend dashed their playoff hopes. I like Miss State to be able to attack that.
Like its opponents, they have a clear path to running the ball.
I also paired it with the Over; I projected this total to be around 52.5. Both teams have clear paths to scoring.

Freshman QB Matt Zollers is still trying to grasp this offense after taking over the starting role midseason for the injured Beau Pribula.
As part of that, they haven't asked him to do a ton other than manage the game. It's part of the reason he's gone Under both of these numbers in each of his starts.
I think he does it a third time here because not only will he not be asked to do a ton, he also won't need to with the Tigers having such a heavy advantage on the ground.
