However, West Virginia is landing 61 percent of tickets and 62 percent of bets. Against the Spread (ATS) Pick

So the question in this matchup is, of course, can West Virginia upset Texas Tech for the second straight game? Well, the Mountaineers are coming into this showdown playing really well. They have won four of their last five ball games and three in a row away from Morgantown.

West Virginia has done this thanks to its deadly 3-point shooting - although it can be streaky at times - and by being monsters on the glass. And like any Bob Huggins' team, the Mountaineers force a heap of turnovers.

But it's not like Texas Tech has been playing poorly, either. Since the loss to the Mountaineers, the Red Raiders have rattled off three straight victories, including road wins at LSU and Kansas State.

One of the keys to this rematch will be whether or not Texas Tech can run WVU off the 3-point line. While the Mountaineers can be inconsistent when it comes to shooting beyond the arc, they were lights out the last time they played the Red Raiders, going 12-19 from 3-point range. And that has been an area of concern for Tech, which ranks 238th in opponent 3-point field goal percentage.

That said, the rest of the Red Raiders' defense is as strong as it comes in the Big 12, and they'll try to ride that defense, the return Terry Shannon Jr., and the revenge factor to a win here. But the Mountaineers' 3-point shooting and penchant for turnovers will keep this close, not to mention the Red Raiders are 0-8 ATS in their last eight games at home. Take the points with the dogs.

PREDICTION: West Virginia +5.5 (-110)

Over/Under Pick

The total for this matchup is on the board at 141, which is five points higher than the total was when these teams met on Jan. 25. These Big 12 foes obliterated that total, putting up 175 points in that matchup

West Virginia ranks second in the Big 12 in scoring at 76.6 points per game and over its last four contests has upped that number to 83.8, which includes dropping 91 points on Kansas the last time out.

Texas Tech isn't too far behind in scoring at 74.4 points per contest, and its guard combo of Mac McClung and Shannon is one of the toughest duos to slow down in the conference.

While the Mountaineers and Red Raiders might not put up 175 points again, this total could still be a little low.

PREDICTION: Over 140 (-110)
