The Huskies have won four straight and are coming off the biggest win of their season against No. 8 Villanova. This afternoon, they're 11-point favorites against the winless Hoyas and our betting picks only see it going one way. Keep reading to find out.

Some games have been close, but the Georgetown Hoyas haven’t won a single Big East game this season. With three more games left on the regular-season slate, Georgetown is simply running out of time.

The Hoyas are currently 0-16 and will take on a UConn Huskies team that is ranked 21st in the nation, coming off a huge win at home against Villanova.

Our predictions are compiled from the analysis of the spread and total and are indications of where we are leaning for this game.

Spread analysis

The Georgetown Hoyas just can’t finish games this season. At times, the team has shown promise, but ultimately, fatigue sets in and the second half becomes a disaster in many games.

That likely won’t change in today’s matchup against UConn.

The UConn Huskies should have a field day offensively. Georgetown is currently allowing an effective field goal percentage of 53.3% while giving up 36.3% from deep and 52.5% from inside the arc. The Hoyas have also struggled on the defensive glass, allowing 28.9% offensive rebounds this season.

On the other hand, the Huskies are earning 37.7% offensive rebounds and also have hit 35.3% from deep and 48.1% from inside the arc. UConn should be able to limit turnovers and get to the line at an average pace while hitting 75% of foul shots this season.

Meanwhile, Georgetown’s offense has struggled this season, especially inside the arc. The Hoyas are shooting a 46.5% effective field goal percentage while hitting just 43.2% of shots inside the arc. From long-range, the Hyas have hit nearly 35% of shots, but ultimately, inside the arc, it’s going to be extremely difficult against the Huskies.

UConn is allowing teams to shoot just 42.1% from inside the arc. Georgetown is going to have to catch fire from downtown if they want to keep this one close.

I wouldn’t bank on it.

Prediction: UConn -11 (-110)

Over/Under analysis

To me, the Over still makes sense. The Huskies and Hoyas should both be able to earn a solid amount of offensive rebounds.

Despite Georgetown struggling to score from the field, second chances along with the pace of play should be key factors in helping UConn get this contest over the total.

The Huskies could score well into the 80s. They should do the heavy lifting and push this one Over.

Prediction: Over 145.5 (-110)

Best bet

I’ll grab UConn at -11 as the best bet. Georgetown has had opportunities against the bottom tier of the conference and couldn’t get the job done.

The Huskies are nowhere close to the bottom tier and should dominate from the field and on the glass. It’s been an embarrassing year for Georgetown and the Huskies will add to it.

Pick: UConn -11 (-110)
