The Minnesota Timberwolves seek their fourth win in their last five games as they visit the Sacramento Kings tonight.

SacTown has just two wins in its last seven and is leaking heavily on defense, a big reason why they’re 5.5-point home underdogs in the NBA odds.

My Timberwolves vs. Kings predictions and NBA picks have these teams continuing their current trajectories, with Minny taking this one big on November 9.

Timberwolves vs Kings prediction

Timberwolves vs Kings best bet: Timberwolves -5.5 (-110)

It took just two games for Anthony Edwards to return to his dominating self.

The Minnesota Timberwolves star, who recently returned after missing four games with a hamstring injury, lit the Utah Jazz on fire with 37 points in a 137-97 blowout win.

Over the last four games, Minnesota has found its offensive gear, averaging 124.5 points per game, tied with Cleveland for the third-most in that span. They’re shooting a league best 53.9% from the field, and second from 3-point range at a 45.6% clip.

Edwards has plenty of support up front, with Julius Randle leading the team in scoring at 25.9 points and 6.3 assists per game.

This surge isn’t going to be good news for the Sacramento Kings, who were just crushed 132-101 by the Oklahoma City Thunder in their last game.

Defense has been a major issue for Doug Christie’s squad, as they are surrendering a massive 127.8 points per game, the most in the Western Conference.

Teams are shooting a crisp 52.4% against the Kings, the worst opponent FG% in the NBA. Part of that is because the Kings are 26th in paint points allowed, at 54.9 per contest.

Sacramento could also be down its best big man, as Domantas Sabonis (ribs) has missed two straight games and is a game-time decision. They’re still waiting for Keegan Murray (thumb) to make his season debut.

The Kings have many more problems to work out that will directly affect this outcome — including how to play its glut of wing players.

Their young guys are being held back while veterans Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, Malik Monk, and Russell Westbrook soaking up plenty of meaningful minutes, with not a lot of defense being played among them.

With how strong the T-Wolves are running offensively — winning by double-digits each of its last three victories — they should be able to roll on Sunday.

Timberwolves vs Kings same-game parlay

Edwards has been dynamite against the Kings of late, scoring at least 29 points in five of the last seven against SacTown.

Rudy Gobert has been a consistent swatter of shots against them, too. He’s picked up at least two blocks in four of the last six games overall, but has at least two rejections in eight of his last nine against the Kings.

Timberwolves vs Kings SGP

  • Timberwolves -5.5
  • Anthony Edwards Over 28.5 points
  • Rudy Gobert Over 1.5 blocks

Our "from downtown" SGP: Conley contributes

Since drilling four 3-pointers in three straight games, Zach LaVine has cooled off significantly, making four or more triples just once in his last four. He’s up against a Minnesota defense that ranks Top 4 in 3-point defense, holding teams to 31.9% shooting from distance.

Mike Conley is coming off a two-assist game vs Utah, and the books might have gone too low now — but to your advantage. Conley’s line is 3.5 assists, a figure that, prior to last game, he crossed in the previous six contests.

Timberwolves vs Kings SGP

  • Mike Conley Over 3.5 assists
