The Oklahoma City Thunder are on the path to adding some more hardware to their trophy case.

Shai-Gilgeous Alexander & Co. enter Wednesday night’s NBA Cup quarterfinals matchup against the Phoenix Suns with a ridiculous 23-1 record.

Will Phoenix and a banged-up Devin Booker be able to pull off the big upset, or will OKC continue to roll? My Suns vs. Thunder predictions and NBA picks break it all down.

Suns vs Thunder prediction

Suns vs Thunder best bet: Jalen Williams Over 1.5 threes (+180)

Jalen Williams has played just five games this season, and he’s starting to find his shooting rhythm, going 11-for-19 for 25 points in OKC's last game against the Jazz.

J-Dub is coming off an All-Star season where he averaged 21.6 points per game while shooting 36.5% from 3-point range on 4.9 attempts per game.

He's only attempted 2.2 threes in his brief return to action so far this season, but I love the opportunity for him to find his old form and drain some more shots from downtown.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are expected to have most of their roster healthy for this NBA Cup quarterfinal matchup. Dillon Brooks is the Phoenix Suns' big defensive stopper, but he'll have his hands full with SGA, meaning things should open up a bit for J-Dub.

At this price, it’s hard to say no to backing him to hit a couple of threes.

Suns vs Thunder same-game parlay

The Thunder can be vulnerable down low when Isaiah Hartenstein is sidelined, and I expect Mark Williams to have a big game as such. The big man is averaging 13.2 points and 8.6 rebounds per game this season. He's also recorded seven double-doubles in 20 games played this season, including in the last game against OKC.

I’ve got a single bet on Williams to record a double-double as well at +310, but it also gives us a great start on this SGP.

Let's finish with a bet on OKC to win. These teams met just back on Nov. 28 with the Thunder winning 123-119. OKC controlled most of the game before Phoenix made a late push. The Thunder have lost once all year. I’m not picking them to lose to the Suns at home as two-touchdown home favourites.

Suns vs Thunder SGP

  • Jalen Williams Over 1.5 threes
  • Mark Williams to record a double-double

Our "from downtown" SGP: Book on the boards

If Devin Booker does play, he should have a well-rounded game. He averages 4.3 rebounds per game and has topped 3.5 boards in four of his last six games, including the most recent game against OKC.

Suns vs Thunder SGP

  • Jalen Williams Over 1.5 threes
  • Mark Williams to record a double-double
  • Devin Booker Over 3.5 rebounds
  • Thunder moneyline
