If winter storms still have you stuck inside, the NBA keeps you warm with a packed slate of games on Tuesday.
There are seven contests on the calendar, and I’ve highlighted my best NBA picks and prop predictions for January 27.
Best NBA player props today
| Player | Pick | |
|---|---|---|
| Over 7.5 rebounds | +100 | |
| Over 14.5 points | +100 | |
| Over 14.5 points | -112 |

Prop #1: Josh Hart Over 7.5 rebounds
Josh Hart plays bigger than his 6-foot-5 frame, especially when it comes to crashing the glass.
The New York Knicks guard is averaging almost eight rebounds a night and was extremely active in New York’s win over Philadelphia on the weekend when he hauled in 13 boards.
The Knicks host the Kings, who rank dead last in the NBA in rebound rate. Sacramento watches opponents rack up an average of 55 rebounds an outing, with a dozen of those being offensive.
Player projections for Hart range from 7.7 to 9.7 rebounds tonight, with my number settling in at 8.5. We’re getting good value at EVEN money considering the Over should sit around -140.

Prop #2: Paul George Over 14.5 points
Paul George sat out Monday’s ugly loss to Charlotte due to injury management, but appears active for the second of back-to-back games tonight.
The veteran forward has been in an offensive funk over his last three outings, scoring nine, 10, and 14 points on a collective 13-for-31 shooting.
George has benefitted from those scheduled rest spots this season. In the three games in which he sat the first of back-to-back contests, fresh legs have helped him score 15, 20, and 21 points.
The Philadelphia 76ers face a Bucks team that ranks among the league's worst defensive clubs, with just one win in the past six contests. Milwaukee is also missing two-way superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo in the middle.
Projections for George range from 14 to 16.5 points, with the majority of models at 15+ points.

Prop #3: Collin Gillespie Over 14.5 points
Collin Gillespie is expected to get more floor time with Devin Booker sidelined and could see his role in the Phoenix Suns’ scoring attack spike if fellow guard Jalen Green is out or limited with a hamstring injury.
Gillespie already stepped up earlier this season when Green went down, averaging 16.3 points in more than 31 minutes per game during December.
He’s logged more than 30 minutes in the past two outings and faces a Brooklyn team that struggles to protect the perimeter.
The Nets rank dead last in 3-point percentage allowed, which is where Gillespie does the most damage. He’s shooting 42.5% from deep and knocking down nearly three triples per game.
Projections for Gillespie sit as high as 15.3 points tonight, but his ceiling is higher depending on Green’s final status tonight.
