Tyrese Maxey’s playmaking will headline tonight’s Atlantic Division clash, as the 76ers star should thrive as a facilitator on his home floor.

A packed eight-game slate headlines tonight's action in the Association.

There are plenty of NBA player props on the board, including two dynamic guards in the East who are both getting all the volume they can handle.

Here are my top NBA picks for Saturday, November 8.

Best NBA player props today

Player Pick bet365
76ers Tyrese Maxey Over 6.5 assists -125
Hawks Dyson Daniels Over 11.5 assists + rebounds -105
Nuggets Nikola Jokic Over 9.5 assists -120

Prop #1: Tyrese Maxey Over 6.5 assists

-125 at bet365

The Philadelphia 76ers have dropped two in a row, but Tyrese Maxey continues to ball out as they navigate Paul George’s absence and ease Joel Embiid back into starter minutes.

Maxey leads the league with 33.5 points per game, but it’s his playmaking that jumps out as the best value against the Toronto Raptors. He’s averaging 8.5 assists per game this year, and he’s gone past this number in six of his past seven outings.

Toronto has had trouble at times keeping guards out of the paint, and Maxey is a willing passer when the defense collapses. Philadelphia is shooting 40% from downtown this year, and Maxey accounts for a lot of the shot creation there.

Joel Embiid should also return for the 76ers here, and that connection is going to pose problems for the Raptors, who are on the second night of a back-to-back set.

Prop #2: Dyson Daniels Over 11.5 assists + rebounds

-105 at bet365

With Trae Young sidelined, Dyson Daniels stands out as an even bigger swing factor for the Atlanta Hawks. So far, he’s turned that extra responsibility into impressive stat lines.

He served up a do-it-all 8-7-7 line last night against the Raptors, and I’m locked in on Daniels' assists + rebounds Over tonight as the Hawks host the Los Angeles Lakers.

Daniels has cleared this prop in three of his last four games, averaging 6.0 rebounds while anchoring the paint and increasing his assist output as Atlanta works to fill the Young void.

The youngster has dished 6+ dimes in four of his past five games, and L.A.’s perimeter defense isn’t likely to put the clamps on Daniels. The Hawks may need him to take the Doncic assignment for spells, but they’ve got bigger wings to soak up most of that burden and free up the Aussie to run the offense.

Prop #3: Nikola Jokic Over 9.5 assists

-120 at bet365

If ever there was a matchup where the Indiana Pacers would miss Myles Turner’s presence in the paint, it’s this one against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.

There’s really no obvious answer for Rick Carlisle here, and the stage is set for Joker to pile up assists, especially if Indiana sends a flurry of double teams.

Jokic leads the NBA with 11.6 apg, and he’s cashed this prop in six of his eight outings this season. Surrounded by capable 3-point shooters, he’s perfectly placed to pull the strings, and the Nuggets have reached the 120-point mark in seven of their eight games.

The Joker racked up 32 assists in his two matchups against the Pacers last season, and I expect another eye-popping total tonight at Ball Arena, particularly if Denver is red hot from beyond the arc.
