The Cleveland Cavaliers have looked dominant to start this season, but there are plenty of reasons to think Dennis Schroder will have a productive game against them tonight.

See why my NBA player props are betting on the Brooklyn Nets point guard with my best NBA picks for Saturday, November 9.

NBA player props for November 9

Prop bet #1: Julian Champagnie Over 4.5 rebounds

+115 at bet365

The Over 4.5 rebounds for Julian Champagnie is installed at plus money, which is surprising since he's eclipsed that number in seven of nine games this season.

Especially when you consider that his playing time has increased since forward Jeremy Sochan suffered a thumb injury. Champagnie averaged 25.2 minutes per game through his first five contests of the season but has seen that number surge to 32.0 mpg over his last four games.

Tonight, Champagnie and the San Antonio Spurs host the 1-7 Utah Jazz. The Jazz play at the seventh-fast pace in the league and are dead-last in field goal percentage (41.4%), which should lead to plenty of rebounding opportunities. These teams previously clashed on October 31, with Champagnie pulling down six boards in 25 minutes of action.

Prop bet #2: Dennis Schroder Over 16.5 points

-110 at bet365

The Cleveland Cavaliers are 10-0 after smoking the Golden State Warriors last night, but they haven't been quite as tight defensively as you might expect.

They are 13th in the league in scoring defense (111.2 ppg) and have been playing at the ninth-fastest tempo — a far cry from their sluggish pace last season. They've really struggled to defend opposing point guards, allowing a league-high 28.6 ppg on 47% shooting to the position.

Brooklyn Nets point guard Dennis Schroder is averaging 19.9 ppg and has hit the 20-point plateau in six of his last eight games. He has benefitted from playing on a team that doesn't have many competent ball-handlers or scoring options and should continue to have the green light to shoot tonight.

Prop bet #3: Zach LaVine Over 20.5 points

-125 at bet365

Cleveland allows the most points per game to opposing point guards, but Atlanta is right behind, surrendering 28.5 ppg to the position. That's good news for Chicago Bulls PG Zach LaVine who is expected to return to the floor after missing the last three games with a right adductor strain.

LaVine is averaging 22.7 ppg and has dropped at least 21 points in five of six games this season. He also has a history of torching the Atlanta Hawks, hitting the 20-point mark in his last 10 games against them.

Both of these teams play at an extremely fast tempo and struggle on the defensive end of the floor, which has resulted in the total for this game sitting at a towering 237.5.

It's also worth noting that the rebuilding Bulls are reportedly looking to trade LaVine. What better way to improve his stock than to let him loose against a Hawks team that ranks 28th in points allowed per game (121.3)?
