We’ve got a big slate of 11 games on the schedule tonight as Americans look to wash down their Thanksgiving leftovers with a Friday of NBA Cup action.

I’m targeting some of the league’s biggest stars to have productive nights, with NBA player props on Jalen Brunson, Nikola Jokic, and Luka Doncic.

Let’s take a look at my favorite prop bets for tonight in my free NBA picks for Friday, November 28.

Prop #1: Jalen Brunson Over 30.5 points

+-110 at bet365

The New York Knicks are once again positioning themselves as a high seed in the Eastern Conference, and the stellar play of Jalen Brunson is a big part of the reason why they’re in that position. Brunson is putting up 28.6 ppg on the year, nearly matching his career high (28.7), which he set during the 2023-24 season.

Brunson has been on a scoring tear over the last two weeks. In the Knicks’ last six games, he has put up at least 27 points each night, going for 31+ on four different occasions.

The Milwaukee Bucks are giving up 115.8 ppg and have lost six straight. I’m taking Brunson to have another big night.

Prop #2: Nikola Jokic Over 54.5 points/rebounds/assists

-110 at bet365

We could probably find a reason to take a Nikola Jokic prop on every night he plays, but there are particular reasons to like the Denver Nuggets center tonight. Jokic is “only” averaging 53.5 combined PRA, which is just under the number set for him tonight, but that’s not a problem when he has the right matchup.

Normally, battling the San Antonio Spurs would mean a tiring matchup with Victor Wembanyama. But with Wemby on the sidelines with a calf injury, Jokic’s job gets a lot less demanding, and he’ll be able to run the Denver offense with a lot less resistance. It’s never easy to be sure exactly how Jokic will contribute, but one way or another, we can expect a vintage performance from him on Friday.

Prop #3: Luka Doncic Over 33.5 points

-115 at bet365

Luka Doncic will get another opportunity to show the Dallas Mavericks what a mistake it was to trade him away tonight when the Los Angeles Lakers host his former team. It’s not as though he hasn’t been showing that all season long, though, with Doncic putting up a career-high 35.2 ppg on 47% shooting from the field.

Doncic has only faced the Mavericks twice so far since moving to the Lakers, and both games were memorable: he put up a triple-double against them shortly after being traded, then scored 45 against Dallas in April.

Luka’s put up 37+ points in three of his last four games, and there’s bound to be extra motivation for him to show out against the Mavericks. I’m taking Doncic to hit his scoring total tonight.

His betting strategy focuses more on finding line value based on deviations from the market rather than traditional handicapping, primarily shopping between DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics in his home state of Connecticut, though he’s not afraid to do deep game analysis to find profitable bets at any book.

Outside of gambling, Ed is an avid curler who competes in mixed doubles on the World Curling Tour and runs a popular curling YouTube channel, Chess on Ice. That experience has come in handy during the Olympics, when he has proven to be a successful curling bettor as well.

Ed's advice to new bettors is to always open multiple sportsbook accounts and check the odds at each before placing any bet. Successful sports betting is about consistently beating the closing line value, which requires finding spots where one book is offering odds far better than the rest of the market and jumping on those opportunities.
