The Indiana Pacers and Minnesota Timberwolves meet on Sunday, with both teams smarting from blowouts.

Defense has not been on the mind of Indiana, and our Pacers vs. Timberwolves predictions anticipate a big game out of Julius Randle.

Pacers vs Timberwolves prediction

Pacers vs Timberwolves best bet: Julius Randle Over 33.5 points+rebounds+assists (-115)

Julius Randle has gotten off to a tremendous start to the 2025-26 season. At 22.5 points per game, he sits behind only Anthony Edwards for the team lead in the scoring department. The stretch four also leads the Minnesota Timberwolves in rebounds (eight) and assists (5.5).

Rudy Gobert is averaging just 6.5 boards per outing, and the Wolves don’t have a clear answer at point guard yet, so Randle should continue to provide quality numbers on the glass and as a facilitator. He posted 32 PRA in his first game of the season before dropping 40 in his last time out.

The Indiana Pacers have allowed the most points per game this season at 134.5, making this a favorable spot for Randle to rack up the stats.

Playing at home with a great matchup, I expect Randle to cruise past the Over on this combo line.

Pacers vs Timberwolves same-game parlay

After opening the season with two straight road games, the Timberwolves will play in front of the home crowd. Minny had a point differential of 7.1 at home and just 2.9 on the road last season. It should be fired up for a big win over a shorthanded Pacers team playing on no rest.

Indiana may have a tough time scoring the basketball, especially if Bennedict Mathurin is sidelined. Mathurin left Saturday’s loss in the third quarter with foot soreness, and his status is up in the air for the second leg of this back-to-back set. Andrew Nembhard (shoulder) is also banged up, and I’ll look for Minnesota’s defense to put the clamps on at home.

Pacers vs Timberwolves SGP

  • Julius Randle Over 33.5 points+rebounds+assists
  • Timberwolves -12
  • Under 229.5

Our "from downtown" SGP: Points for Pascal

Indiana isn’t a deep team when it comes to elite scoring options, and Mathurin’s injury could mean a heftier workload for Pascal Siakam on offense.

He finished with just 13 points on 12 shots on Saturday after dropping 32 in the opener. He’s due for a bounce-back performance, and the Pacers will need him to put up points on Sunday.

  • Under 229.5
  • Pascal Siakam Over 23.5 points

Pacers vs Timberwolves odds
