Two of the West’s hottest teams are set to meet, with the Timberwolves riding a four-game streak and the Nuggets rolling in with six straight wins.

Rudy Gobert has been a double-double machine this month, and my Nuggets vs. Timberwolves predictions expect the Minnesota center to come up big again tonight.

Nuggets vs Timberwolves prediction

Nuggets vs Timberwolves best bet: Rudy Gobert to record a double-double (+130)

The Minnesota Timberwolves secured a fourth straight win on Friday night, this time defeating the Sacramento Kings 124-110 in NBA Cup Group Play.

Rudy Gobert narrowly missed out on his third straight double-double with 11 points and eight boards, but at +130, we’re getting great value on that play tonight.

Minny's center is averaging 12.6 points per game and 11.0 rebounds per game in November, boasting four double-doubles in his last seven contests. The 7-foot-1 Frenchman is poised for a huge game on the glass with Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic listed as questionable for tonight’s matchup with a wrist injury.

Jokic is the only player on Denver averaging more than 5.5 rpg, so a usually strong defensive squad could take a big hit if the three-time MVP is sidelined.

Nuggets vs Timberwolves same-game parlay

Whether Jokic is out or playing through pain tonight, there’s a good chance we see Aaron Gordon step up for the Nuggets. The forward is averaging 19.6 ppg, so we’re not asking for a lot with the line set at just 16.5 points — a number he’s cashed in five straight games.

And if Gordon is scoring, he likely won’t be passing much either. He’s recorded Under 2.5 assists in five of his last six games.

Nuggets vs Timberwolves SGP

  • Rudy Gobert to record a double-double
  • Aaron Gordon Over 16.5 points

Our "from downtown" SGP: Fading Naz

The Nuggets are one of the best teams in the NBA at defending the 3-point line, ranking first in opponent 3P% (31.7%) and fifth in opponent threes made per game (12).

Naz Reid is one of Minnesota’s least efficient 3-point shooters at just 32.3%, and he’s only attempting 5.2 per game. Reid has made Under 1.5 threes in seven of 12 outings this season.
