Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals felt like deja vu. The Indiana Pacers dropped Game 3 for the third straight playoff series, and the New York Knicks erased a 20-point lead to secure a comeback victory.

Tuesday’s Game 4 is a pivotal contest that can swing the series in either direction, and I have a trio of Knicks vs. Pacers props you should add to your NBA picks for this May 27 tilt.

Knicks vs Pacers player props for May 27

Ben Sheppard Over 0.5 threes (-120 at bet365)

The Indiana Pacers have leaned on depth, youth, speed, and athleticism this season, and that’s been particularly evident in the playoffs.

The hallmark of the Pacers’ offense is their ability to run in transition, which often leads to easy buckets at the other end — whether they be two-handed flushes from Pascal Siakam or wide-open corner threes from Ben Sheppard.

The second-year man out of Belmont averaged 1.1 triples across a career-high 19.5 minutes during the regular season. He hit at least one 3-pointer in 39 of 63 regular-season appearances, and he’s reached that mark in seven of 11 playoff games.

In six total meetings with the Knicks this season, Sheppard has knocked down at least one triple four times, including all three home appearances. He’s recorded at least one made 3-pointer in two straight and five of his last six.

Over his last five games, Sheppard has averaged 1.2 triples across 15.6 minutes, and I expect him to continue seeing minutes in this range, as Indiana utilizes multiple scorers off the bench.

The man with arguably the best moustache in the Association gets a highly favorable line that just needs one make from beyond the arc to cash.

Karl-Anthony Towns Over 35.5 points+rebounds+assists (-110 at bet365)

Karl-Anthony Towns’ monster fourth-quarter effort in Game 3 single-handedly kept the New York Knicks' season alive. He dropped 20 points in the final frame to finish with a 24/15/1 line.

Towns has averaged 21.1 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 1.1 assists across 15 playoff games, and he’s gone for at least 36 PRA in seven of them. KAT has hit the Over in two of three against the Pacers in this series, and he reached that mark in all three regular-season matchups.

Towns averaged 37.3 PRA in three home matchups with the Pacers and 45.3 PRA in three road matchups, hitting the Over in each game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

T.J. McConnell Over 14.5 points+rebounds+assists (-105 at bet365)

Like Sheppard, T.J. McConnell has seen meaningful minutes off the bench for the Pacers throughout the postseason. His impact has been noticeable, and I expect him to make the most of his opportunities in Game 4.

McConnell averaged 15.9 PRA across 17.9 minutes in the regular season. Though his playing time has dipped slightly to 16 minutes per game in the playoffs, his PRA have increased to 16.4. He’s also hit the Over on this line in nine of 13 postseason appearances, including three straight and five of six.

McConnell has averaged 16.7 PRA in this series and hit the Over on this line in each contest. The odds for this prop have moved from -130 to a much more profitable -105, and I’m happy to take the Over here.
