Down 0-2 to the Indiana Pacers, the New York Knicks will need a well-rounded team performance to get back on track at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Sunday. Superstar PG Jalen Brunson will be leaned on to lead the charge for the Knicks as they attempt to claw their way back into the Eastern Conference Finals.

Brunson scored 43 and 36 points in losing efforts in Games 1 and 2, respectively, but my Jalen Brunson player props and NBA picks expect him to get teammates involved on the road and share the love in Game 3.

Jalen Brunson best bet

Jalen Brunson Over 7.5 assists (-105 at bet365)

Jalen Brunson averaged a career-high 7.3 assists per game in 2024-25. Brunson has handed out at least eight dimes in five of 14 playoff games.

The Knicks have fared well when Brunson facilitated at a high level. He averaged 7.7 assists in wins and 6.7 in losses during the regular season. The Knicks won four of five postseason games in which Brunson dished at least eight dimes.

Brunson has averaged 7.6 assists per game in five matchups with the Indiana Pacers this season. He handed out eight or more assists twice and exactly seven assists once more. He dished seven assists per game in three home matchups and 8.5 per game in two at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Brunson’s late-game heroics are the stuff of legend in New York Knicks lore, but the team will need a complete team effort to get the win in Game 3. I expect Brunson to feed his teammates early and often and hit the Over on this assist line tonight.

Jalen Brunson same-game parlay

Jalen Brunson Over 7.5 assists

Jalen Brunson 3+ rebounds

Jalen Brunson Over 2.5 3-pointers

Brunson averaged just 2.9 rebounds per game this season, but he grabbed 3.1 on the road compared to just 2.7 at home. He corralled 3.1 in wins compared to 2.5 in losses. He’s upped his average to 3.6 rebounds per game in the playoffs and grabbed at least three boards in 11 of 14.

During the regular season, Brunson finished with at least three rebounds in more than half of his appearances, reaching that mark in 37 of 65 games.

He knocked down 2.3 triples per game at a 38.3% clip this season. Like rebounds and assists, Brunson’s 3-point numbers were better in wins than in losses.

Brunson finished with 2.7 triples in wins and 1.8 in losses, including 2.9 in road wins and 1.8 in road losses. In road wins, Brunson knocked down 44.4% of his shots from beyond the arc.

Brunson has hit at least three triples in eight of 14 postseason appearances, and he reached that mark in 32 of 65 regular season games. He’s hit at least three triples in four of his last six games, including five made in Game 2.

I’m expecting some catch-and-shoot opportunities for Brunson off of offensive rebounds, and I’ll take the Over here.
