Grizzlies vs Spurs Prediction, Picks & Odds for Tonight’s NBA Game

With Victor Wembanyama sidelined, it makes sense to think De'Aaron Fox would pick up the slack, but expect the Spurs to share the wealth enough so that his 26.5-point scoring prop is too inflated vs. the Grizzlies.

The struggling Memphis Grizzlies hit the road tonight to face Victor Wembanyama-less San Antonio Spurs at the Frost Bank Center.

While I do expect De’Aaron Fox to step up in the place of his star teammate, my Grizzlies vs Spurs predictions explain why the Under in his points prop holds value for the guard.

Grizzlies vs Spurs prediction

Grizzlies vs Spurs best bet: De'Aaron Fox Under 26.5 points (-125)

De'Aaron Fox just made his 2025-26 season debut 10 days ago after recovering from injury. The veteran has played well so far, averaging 22 points and 6.8 assists on 37% shooting from long range across five contests.

With Victor Wembanyama sidelined due to a calf injury, the heavy lifting will be on Fox’s shoulders. However, his total is set at 26.5, and to me, that’s too high considering what he’s shown so far.

The Kentucky product has only cashed the Over in points once so far this season. I have no doubts he’s going to step up and do his part, but he typically puts up anywhere from 21-24 points per night.

Plus, other San Antonio Spurs players are more than capable of contributing more without Wemby, including Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson.

Grizzlies vs Spurs same-game parlay

Jaylen Wells is averaging 1.5 made threes of 5.3 attempts per night for a 28.4% clip. He’s not an elite shooter by any means and has cashed the Under in six of his last eight appearances. Wells was 1-for-4 from long range on Saturday.

The Memphis Grizzlies may be sitting at 4-10 and without the controversial Ja Morant, but they did win three out of four meetings with San Antonio last season. While the Grizzlies have lost four in a row, there’s no better time to break out of the skid than against a team they’ve dominated in the past.

With Wemby on the shelf, it presents a clear opportunity for Memphis to win.
