After two crushing collapses, the Boston Celtics are on the ropes as they try to get back into their Round 2 series with New York with a win in Game 3.

But the defending champs can’t go out like that, right? It’s the main question I’ve wrestled with while assembling my Knicks vs. props and NBA picks for this May 10 tilt.

Celtics vs Knicks player props for May 10

Jalen Brunson Over 26.5 points (-115 at bet365)

Jalen Brunson had a rough night at the office in Game 2, finishing with 17 points on 6-for-19 shooting, though he came up clutch for some big buckets in the fourth quarter to complete the comeback.

The books have dropped his scoring line to 26.5 points for Game 3 — making it a great time to pounce on this value.

Brunson is averaging 29.4 points per game through eight games in the playoffs, and he’s scored 29 points or more in six of the eight games he’s played.

Boston can throw a bevy of top-tier defenders his way, but Brunson should be a force in this crucial contest. He’s gone for 27 or more in four of the last six regular-season matchups with Boston.

Jayson Tatum Over 10.5 rebounds (-110 at bet365)

It’s been a rough start to Round 2 for Jayson Tatum, who is shooting just 28.6% from the field over the first two games. That includes a brutal 5-for-20 mark from 3-point range.

However, what Tatum has been doing well is rebounding the ball, pulling down 30 boards over the first two games. In fact, he’s had at least 14 rebounds in four of six starts in these playoffs.

Only the Pacers and Magic are worse rebounding teams in these playoffs than New York, so even if Tatum is gun shy about hoisting up jumpers, he should stay aggressive on the glass.

Mikal Bridges Over 1.5 threes (-115 at bet365)

While Mikal Bridges has mostly impacted this series on defense, he's been sprinkling in offense as well and is a good candidate to top his 1.5 threes line Saturday.

Since opening the playoffs with a 0-for-2 mark from downtown, Bridges has hit at least two triples in six of the last seven games.

While he’s only shooting 31.9% from 3-point range in the playoffs, Bridges has made timely shots and should stay on his trend from deep.
