The Cleveland Cavaliers look to pick up their fifth straight win when they head to Kaseya Center to take on the Miami Heat.

Donovan Mitchell has been scoring at will and should have free rein against a Miami Heat team that’ll be without a key defender.

Cavaliers vs Heat prediction

Cavaliers vs Heat best bet: Donovan Mitchell Over 25.5 points (-120)

Donovan Mitchell scored eight straight points in the final minutes on Saturday to help the Cleveland Cavaliers rally to defeat the Chicago Bulls and pick up their fourth straight win.

Mitchell scored a game-high 29 points in the victory, and I’m expecting him to stay hot vs. the Miami Heat tonight.

The Cavs guard is averaging 30.7 ppg and has scored Over 25.5 points in six of nine games this season. That should be a relatively easy bar for Mitchell to reach against a Heat team that hasn’t been great in its own half court, giving up 118 ppg (18th).

To make matters worse for Miami, the team will be without a key versatile defender in Bam Adebayo, who’s ruled out with a toe injury.

Bam Adebayo leads the Heat in rebounds and defensive rebounds, so Mitchell and the Cavs may enjoy a few more second-chance points than usual.

Cavaliers vs Heat same-game parlay

Along with being Cleveland’s best scorer, Mitchell has also been distributing the basketball at a good clip, averaging just over five assists per game.

He’s had Over 4.5 dimes in five straight outings, and I expect him to hit that number again vs. what could be a weakened Heat defense.

With Adebayo out, we’ll likely see Kel’el Ware in an increased role for Miami. The 21-year-old center is playing just over 21 minutes per game and has scored Over 11.5 points in four of his last nine contests.

Cavaliers vs Heat SGP

  • Donovan Mitchell Over 25.5 points
  • Donovan Mitchell Over 4.5 assists
  • Kel'el Ware Over 11.5 points

Our "from downtown" SGP: Cavs cruise

Darius Garland made his season debut last Wednesday, scoring just eight points in 26 minutes, but the Cavaliers guard bounced back with 20 points in his second appearance on Friday.

Garland should be even more comfortable tonight, and I think he puts up another 20-point performance.

Cavaliers vs Heat SGP

  • Donovan Mitchell Over 25.5 points
  • Donovan Mitchell Over 4.5 assists
  • Kel'el Ware Over 11.5 points
  • Darius Garland Over 18.5 points

Cavaliers vs Heat odds

  • Spread: Cavaliers -7.5 (-115) | Heat +7.5 (-105)
  • Moneyline: Cavaliers -300 | Heat +240
  • Over/Under: Over 247.5 | Under 247.5
