The Kansas City Royals visit the Seattle Mariners tonight at T-Mobile Park for the beginning of a three-game set.
Bobby Witt Jr. has been raking lately, and I’ll explain in my Royals vs. Mariners predictions why I’m eyeing the superstar to do some damage against George Kirby.
Royals vs Mariners prediction
My Royals vs Mariners best bet: Bobby Witt Jr. Over 1.5 total bases (-103 at Caesars)
⚾ Pick Analysis
Bobby Witt Jr. is having another solid campaign for the Kansas City Royals after finishing as a runner-up for MVP in 2024 behind Aaron Judge. The youngster is hitting .285 with 11 home runs and 43 RBI. While his power numbers are down, Witt continues to produce in every other way offensively.
He’s also smacked 29 doubles and three triples in 84 contests. Witt just showed the Dodgers what he’s made of, going 6-for-14 across a three-game set over the weekend. He’s cashed the Over in total bases in back-to-back appearances, going 1-for-4 with a double on Sunday and 4-for-5 on Saturday with three singles and a double.
The 25-year-old will be looking to keep it rolling this evening against the Seattle Mariners, and tonight’s matchup certainly plays in his favor. Witt is 4-for-9 lifetime against Kirby with a pair of doubles. The shortstop swings it even better on the road, too, batting .314 compared to .257 at home.
Whether he collects multiple hits or just one for extra bases, I expect Witt to continue his success against Kirby and keep the hot streak going.
Caesars QuickPick: Our Royals vs Mariners same-game parlay (SGP)
🚀 SGP Analysis
The Royals send Michael Wacha to the hill tonight. The veteran has pitched very well in 2025, compiling a 4-7 record and 3.33 ERA in 16 starts. He's struck out just 74 hitters in 92 innings of work, but he’s been cashing the Over lately.
He’s gone Over his strikeout total in five straight appearances. Wacha tossed six innings of three-run baseball against the Rays last week and struck out nine. He's also done well against this Mariners lineup, holding them to a .197 average across 76 at-bats, including 23 Ks.
Julio Rodriguez is heating up over the last few games here. He just went 7-for-15 across the weekend in a three-game set with the Rangers. J-Rod finished 3-for-6 in the finale on Sunday. He’s collected at least one single in four of his last five games.
The Seattle outfielder is 3-for-11 lifetime against Wacha with three singles. Rodriguez is batting .294 in June and I believe he’ll finish the month on a high note.
