We’ve got a busy betting slate around Major League Baseball tonight, including another matchup between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Detroit Tigers.
George Springer’s bat has caught fire again since the All-Star Break, and I think he keeps it rolling tonight against the Tigers.

Today’s Blue Jays best bet: Springer Stays On a Heater
Pick (-120 at BetVictor)
The Toronto Blue Jays aim to keep things rolling tonight against the Detroit Tigers, who are sputtering out of the All-Star Break.
Toronto put up 11 runs on the board in last night’s victory and hopes to have similar success tonight.
One of the Jays' hottest bats right now belongs to George Springer, who’s sporting a .423 average and a .531 on-base percentage since returning from the All-Star break.
Not only is he getting on base, but he’s also making it count and scoring, too. Springer has crossed home plate in each of his last five games and has eight runs scored over that seven-game post All-Star stretch.
The Tigers are starting Keider Montero tonight, who has a 4.28 ERA and has struggled in back-to-back starts, allowing seven runs combined through just seven innings of work.
Montero has only had one outing against the Blue Jays in his career, and it went poorly, surrendering five runs on eight hits in just 5.1 innings.
Springer did the most damage in that game, going 3-for-3 with a double and two home runs. This should only add to his already sky-high confidence at the plate right now, which I expect will allow him to continue his hot play with the bat to get on base and score again tonight.
Today’s Blue Jays same-game parlay (SGP)
For the first leg of our SGP, we’ll use our best bet and take Over 0.5 runs for George Springer.
I’ll continue backing Springer with the second leg of my SGP, and take him to Over 2.5 bases tonight. He’s gone over this number in two of his last three games, including last night’s win over the Tigers.
Additionally, Springer went 3-for-3 against Montero in the lone game they faced each other, doubling once and homering twice to collect 10 bases in that outing.
For the final leg of my SGP, I’m going to continue fading the Tigers offense here and take the Jays on the run line (-1.5). I think they win, and by more than two runs.
The Jays have won six of seven games out of the All-Star break, covering the run line in each of the wins while sporting a +23 run differential. Meanwhile, the Tigers are 0-7 on the run line coming out of the break with a run differential of -22.
