The Sturgis Buffalo Chip, known for its annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, has announced plans to expand into Southern Nevada with a barn-themed casino hotel resort.
Sturgis Buffalo Chip recently announced a partnership with Mark Advent, the designer of the New York-New York Hotel & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip, to develop the resort, which will be the Buffalo Chip's first full-scale destination outside of South Dakota.

The Southern Nevada project, projected to open by 2028, includes:

While an exact location for the project has not been determined, Advent is discussing deals and expects to debut the Chip not far from the Las Vegas Strip.

Nationwide expansion
In addition to the flagship casino hotel, the Buffalo Chip Global is planning to launch the Sturgis Buffalo Chip Roadhouse in locations across the U.S. The restaurants will bring the “same ethos, character, and energy to towns and cities across America," the company said in a release.
