“The new game, made possible by our partnership with the PGA TOUR, offers classic blackjack gameplay, plus poker and pair side bets,” PENN Entertainment explained via X. “The golf-themed table features official PGA TOUR logos, custom playing cards, chips and golf-themed celebrations.”
According to PENN Entertainment, the offering is the first-ever online casino game featuring PGA Tour branding across any platform.
The game is also expected to become available in future regions and additional iCasino jurisdictions moving forward, subject to regulatory approvals according to PENN Entertainment's release.
Game marks expansion of already existing partnership
The deal comes following a prior agreement in January that saw PENN Entertainment team up with the PGA Tour as part of a deal to launch a new betting stream as well as other perks including designating ESPN BET the PGA Tour's official betting operator.
"We’re pleased to partner with the PGA TOUR and grow the ESPN BET brand through innovative betting-themed broadcasts powered by our sportsbook,” Jason Birney, vice president of operations at PENN Interactive said back in January. He added, “ESPN BET on PGA TOUR LIVE deepens our already robust media and betting integrations with ESPN and creates unique opportunities to engage golf fans in an entertaining way with compelling up-to-the-minute data and insights.”
Notably, with the game set to be available in Ontario, timing is perhaps no accident. The RBC Canadian Open, the nation’s top annual golf tournament, is set to tee off next weekend in Toronto, with tons of star power expected to once again be in town with the U.S. Open following immediately after.
Online gaming has become a lucrative field for PENN, with its North American market interactive segment growing 40% in 2025's Q1.
