The New York State Gaming Commission reported on Friday a $475.3-million online sports betting handle for the week ending Feb. 22, a significant 11% increase compared to the same week in 2025.
The eight online operators were able to win back 8.9%, leaving them with $42.3 million in gross revenue. Profits were up 6.3% from the previous week and 11.3% year over year.
Despite the handle being less than $500 million for the second consecutive week since the Super Bowl, revenue surpassed $40 million for the third time in four weeks.

Leading the way
DraftKings edged FanDuel by less than $300,000 to lead New York with a handle of $164.6 million during the week ending Feb. 22. Wagering for the online operator increased nearly 7% from the previous week, and it’s the first time DraftKings has held the weekly handle title since early January.
FanDuel turned a better hold at 11% and was the only New York sports betting operator in double digits for the week, grossing $18.1 million.
DraftKings won back 9.2% to reach $15.2 million in weekly revenue. Both sportsbooks were more profitable than the previous week.
Other operators
Fanatics accepted more than $50 million in bets for the fourth consecutive week, and its $3.8 million in gross revenue was nearly $600,000 more than the previous period.
BetMGM has taken some hard hits in New York in recent months, failing to record a double-digit win rate in November and finishing in the red twice. The online operator had another tough week, winning back just 2.6% of a $38.4-million handle that was its lowest in three months.
Caesars recorded an 8.3% hold on $32.4 million in wagers, while BetRivers posted one of the best win rates in New York with an 8.6% hold on more than $11 million in wagers. Bally Bet reached 7% on a $3.2-million handle, while theScore Bet failed to get above 6.5% on more than $9.2 million in bets.
