Missouri sportsbooks posted their lowest monthly handle since launching in December 2025, though revenue surged to $21.8 million.

Missouri sports betting hit a new low in July, with the monthly handle falling to $246.8 million, a 4.5% decline from June’s $258.3 million. The figure was the lowest since the state launched sports wagering in December 2025.

According to figures published by the Missouri Gaming Commission, online sports betting accounted for $243.5 million of the overall handle, while retail sports betting generated $3.3 million.

Missouri betting revenue jumped 59.4% month over month from $13.7 million to $21.8 million. Sports wagering tax also rose 59.5% from June, increasing from $1.4 million to $2.2 million.

DraftKings accounted for the majority of the betting handle, recording $108.8 million, up slightly by 5.2% month over month from $103.4 million. FanDuel ranked second with $66.8 million, down 12.4% from its $76.3-million June handle.

bet365, Fanatics, and BetMGM followed with handles of $21.3 million, $16.8 million, and $16.7 million, respectively.

Baseball was the most popular sport among Missourians for the month, making up $135.2 million of the overall handle. Parlays followed at $79.6 million, while soccer generated $36.9 million.
