DraftKings Casino announced Thursday that one customer in Michigan was awarded $9.28 million, the largest online casino jackpot in U.S. history to date.

The progressive jackpot, which started at $1 million one year ago this month, and was part of DK's Single Level Progressive Jackpot offering, was won by a simple 20-cent bet playing Irish Pot Luck.
The jackpot allows customers to opt-in to make an additional wager on several jackpot-eligible games including DraftKings Rocket, DraftKings Fire Buffalo and DraftKings Blackjack, for a chance at winning the progressive jackpot.
