As the NFL prepares to kick off its regular season later this week, Las Vegas-based MGM Resorts International and BetMGM recently announced they are partnering once again with the American Gaming Association (AGA) to promote Responsible Gaming Education Month (RGEM), which started Sept. 1.

For the third straight season, GameSense messaging will appear at certain NFL stadiums on LED ribbons, highlighted by one new venue this upcoming football season: Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles. The defending Super Bowl champions will host the NFC East rival Dallas Cowboys on Thursday at 8:20 p.m. ET to kick off the league's 2025 campaign.
GameSense is a responsible gaming program licensed to MGM Resorts in 2017 by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. The program focuses on positive, transparent, and proactive engagements with guests and customers about how to gamble responsibly.
Messages will also be featured on stadium scoreboards during pregame activities and within game-day magazines.

GameSense and the AGA's Play Smart from the Start messaging will reach guests this month via digital platforms, retail sportsbooks, Las Vegas marquees, and the new MGM Grand Live Dealer studio.

On the BetMGM Side
BetMGM Sportsbook messaging will also remind players to "take a time-out" and "budget before you bet," with QR codes attached to responsible gaming resources.
GameSense advisors will continue to support guests at BetMGM Sportsbooks and MGM Rewards desks across the United States. MGM Resorts has certified more than 1,900 employees through the GameSense Advisor program.
MGM Resorts announced a $250,000 contribution to the International Center for Responsible Gaming, which will support independent, peer-reviewed research that advances best practices aimed at supporting casino employees and player protection strategies.
