Rock group Def Leppard has announced its highly anticipated return to Las Vegas with a new residency, Def Leppard: Live at Caesars Palace The Las Vegas Residency. The show is scheduled to run from Feb. 3 to Feb. 28, 2026, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, marking its third residency following successful runs in 2013 and 2019.

Key Takeaways

  • Def Leppard is making its anticipated return to Las Vegas.
  • The rock group announced its third residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
  • The residency is titled Def Leppard: Live at Caesars Palace The Las Vegas Residency

With over 110 million albums sold worldwide and induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, Def Leppard remains a continuous force in rock. The Def Leppard Las Vegas performance features a brand-new stage production, with a setlist that includes the band's all-time favorite anthemic hit tracks and new tracks specially designed for both die-hard and new fans.

Lead vocalist Joe Elliott explained the band's affection for Las Vegas, citing the town's unique ability to share the spotlight among major star acts. He welcomed the opportunity to perform one night in The Colosseum, finding it an honor to share the stage with some all-time legends, such as Adele and U2.

The rock group’s extended return to Las Vegas comes when Sin City has recently experienced back-to-back tourism declines. The Fourth of July holiday weekend also experienced a tourism drop, with LVCVA Research Center Director Kevin Bagger predicting a year-on-year drop of around 4,000 visitors.

Kelly Clarkson brings family out during Vegas residency

Las Vegas is always looking for star power to enhance its appeal, and the Def Leppard residency is one of several that have made it in Las Vegas. Kelly Clarkson's residency returned after a brief hiatus in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, adding an emotional family touch.

In her latest performance, she brought her daughter River Rose for a duet singing performance of "Heartbeat Song." The hit premiered on Clarkson's album Piece by Piece in 2015.

To add a personal element of emotion, even Clarkson's son, Remington Alexander, made a guest appearance in the performance, and the whole proceedings were, in effect, a family production. The appearance of her children highlighted a more personal and vulnerable side of the pop star’s ongoing live show.

Despite a late start to her ongoing residency in the first half of the month, Clarkson has been able to get back into the swing of performing. Her residency runs throughout November.
