BET99 CEO Jared Beber, who recently appeared alongside Georges St-Pierre and Cole Caufield in the company’s latest responsible gaming ad, said the operator is looking to establish a presence in the emerging market.

“Alberta marks an exciting next chapter for BET99,” Beber told Covers on Thursday. “We’re building on the brand our players know and love, with personalized service and customer relationships at the heart of our approach, from everyday customer support to our dedicated VIP team.”

Operators in Wild Rose Country have until Oct. 13 to transition out of the “grey market” and into the province’s regulated market.

BET99 looks to make mark in Alberta

With a large influx of competition into the Alberta sports betting landscape, BET99 is aiming to position itself with various differentiators from the competition, with goals of connecting with Albertans thanks to personalized service, as well as providing experiences via its “99ers” community.

“Through our 99ers community, we’re also bringing people together around sports, entertainment and shared experiences, online and in person,” Beber added. “As we work toward October 13, our immediate priority is keeping players informed and supported throughout the transition.”

Open wagers cannot be migrated to Alberta’s regulated market, meaning all unsettled bets as of Oct. 13 will be voided and refunded in accordance with applicable requirements.

Customers can cash out eligible bets before the regulated launch date, with player support and communication available to help users through the transition.
