Jake Knapp's 70/1 price is a massive bargain when you realize he has all of the tools needed for success at Augusta National.

Winning the Masters is incredibly difficult, and we’ve seen a recent trend of winners who have all been priced among the betting favorites or just below.

So, while my Masters picks are headlined by Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa, I can’t help but be giddy about the statistical profile and potential course fit for Jake Knapp as a long shot to target this week at Augusta National.

I think we could see Knapp’s Masters odds drop ahead of Round 1 on Thursday, too.

Aside from sporting a strong course history at Augusta National, Jake Knapp checks so many statistical and stylistic boxes to take a serious run at winning the 2026 Masters.

He’s consistently contended this year with five Top 10s in seven events while gaining true strokes putting in each tournament to rank second in this field in the metric during the heater.

This is particularly encouraging after finishing 54th in true strokes gained putting during his T55 Masters debut in 2024, and I’m anticipating improved work on the greens being a key contributor to his success this week.

In addition to acing the eye test with driver in hand, Knapp is eighth in driving distance in this field in 2026, so he also has the luxury of being able to strategically club down to fairway finders without sacrificing length.

Of course, Knapp is also pacing the PGA Tour in adjusted scoring average and Par-5 scoring average while ranking second in bogey avoidance, which makes him a priority addition to my betting card.

I'm also pairing my outright ticket with a Top 20 bet at +160 at bet365.
