The PGA Tour West Coast Swing continues with the Farmers Insurance Open at storied Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego, California.

It’s a strong field at the top of the Farmers Insurance Open odds lists, with Xander Schauffele and Ludvig Aberg the betting favorites. My top sleepers and longshots golf picks for the week look further down the board and are headlined by 2023 U.S. Open winner Wyndham Clark.

Farmers Insurance Open sleeper picks

  • Clark to win outright (+5000)
  • Penge to win outright (+5500)
  • Rodgers to win outright (+7000)

Picks were made on 1-27 at 12:00 p.m. ET.

Farmers Insurance Open sleeper predictions

Sleeper pick to win: Wyndham Clark
+5000 at Fanatics

A poor final round cost Wyndman Clark at The American Express, but it’s also the reason we’re landing a long number ahead of the Farmers.

He heads to Torrey Pines on a T8-T13 run and will be playing the track for the eighth time competitively. I’m anticipating his tee-to-green game and solid putting leading the way to his best career finish in this event.

Sleeper pick to win: Marco Penge
+5500 at Fanatics

The Englishman will make his 2026 PGA Tour debut this week, and Torrey Pines sets up well for his game.

Marco Penge paces this field in both driving distance and true strokes gained off the tee across his past 12 events, and he won three times on the DP World Tour in 2025 with another five Top 10s.

Sleeper pick to win: Patrick Rodgers
+7000 at Fanatics

This is a great price for Patrick Rogers, given he’s carded four Top 10s at Torrey Pines, including his T3 last year at the Genesis.

He also finished eighth in true strokes gained on approach last week at the Amex and ranks 18th in this field in true strokes gained tee-to-green and 13th in driving distance across his past six events.
