Today might be more of my thoughts than posting a play. Today could possibly be the day that the Wings finally crack one at home, last homestand before they go out on a road trip in two days to Chicago. This would seem to be the perfect situational spot for the Wings to go all out with Mystics being on the road again after another OT thriller. I don't believe that will be a huge detriment to the Mystics though, they last played 3 days ago and should have just enough rest for this match, then will have 6 more days until their next road game in Seattle.
However, until the Wings can prove to me otherwise I don't think they will make it easy on themselves against the Mystic. I'm not sure if the coach knows what he's doing, calling out his players for being selfish while keeping the hot player Siegrest on the bench and sitting Azzi in the 4th quarter. How's that for being selfish? Missed opportunities. Mystics, while not perfect, have shown more grit and cohesion. Rebounding and defensive edge belongs to the Mystics where that has remain the Wings weakness. Wings are still stuck in 2025.
This will come down to Wings offense. If they are on fire from 3 pt range they will win and possibly cover this game. Arike will need a good game she's been hit or miss lately and of course Paige she'll get her points. That's the only thing they have against the Mystics. Wings interior defense is weak the Mystics will be attacking the paint with Shakira Austin.
Had a chance at +5(-105) but waited too late to see where the line will go, now down to +4. Not sure if I want to grab it at that number. Might play if it hits +4.5 or grab a live line
