I understand they're trying to secure a playoff berth but playoffs is also about matchups. They do match up very well against Minnesota. I'm not saying that they want to lose games, but if I'm the coach and organization. I'm like we play Minnesota exceptionally well this year we match up very well against them. Why not position yourselves and try to get the eighth seed and maybe pull off the upset in the playoffs???
