yup. a St. Louis filter.

filters... don't waste your time.

focus on a good recovery strategy, thats the key.

A loss is not the end of the world for a chase... its a marathon not a sprint.

 The filter is suppose to be: Fade the bottom 5-8 teams, use own discretion.

11/5 B ANA
11/5 B OTT
11/5 C STL
11/5 A BOS/B 11/7

I started playing this system on 10/12 and it has gone 18-1.
Units won/lost would depend on how you manage your BR.
If I don't win on A game, I just try to recover A $ on B and C.
Not enough data to create filter unless you do PL for every C home game.  That would make it 19-0.
Lot of games starting on 11/7.  Will post them later.

 

 

i was thinking something like this.  i mean in mlb was there a lot of home teams getting swept?

Well both do bring up good points in a way............
Instead of not playing the bottom 5or 8 teams or so an idea for now is to stay away from at or under .500 teams at home as the season still get's it feet wet. Or fade 'em small
By another 10 games or so you should have a gauge of who's who with more acurate stats
Maybe by then a some sort of filter can be derived  to eliminate from series losses.
Believe me this exact same system was cooking last year on a 4 game chase and blew its load late in the year on I think Was - and either Van or Ana wasting away a lot of hard earned units

So to counter that a creative MM strategy with a wise recovery procedure can save on those lost units and keep the system afloat real nice in these choppy waters because anything can happen with chases and down the road the juice is going to get spiked up to some  -250  and  -370 for the top home teams per game

You can filter all you want till your down to 1 play a season if your heart desires.  It's only 1 loss, if you play home and road your like 50-1 right now, so don't worry about it.  Divide your losses into the next few series and move on....

Hectar, are you using modified labouchere for up to the C bet for both home and road chases???

Had the 2 B bets come thru and was 5-0 on A bets... Doesn't get much better then that....

Hectar, so essentially, you are doubling up after each win, and reducing back to 1 unit after a loss? is that correct?

if the road chase is on a hot streak, u are doubling up your to win units, but with the high juice, is it worth it?

No, I bet to win 1 unit on game A, if it losses then I bet to win my loss plus .5 unit on game B, and if that losses I bet to win all losses plus .25 unit on game C.  This keeps things manageable. 

Look at it this way, there will never be a perfect system, the casinos won't allow wagers if there was.  I never expect a perfect season, but to able to hold my own with any losses and make that money back on future series.

This thread is home chase only. If I'm not mistaken, Hectar plays it plus another system where you chase the road team playing at one venue.
So EDM is a C bet against COL because COL beat PHO on 11/4 and CHI on 11/6 at home.

OK i get it.

You are absolutely right that money management to keep our bankroll in check is key. However, i am curious, say we lost a C bet, how are you planning to spread the losses? or just take the loss and continue on with the rest of the plays?

EDM is an A bet as they are in game 1 of a road series.
